Just completed the tour—and wow, it truly can’t get better than this.
I visited Auckland a few years ago and spent a few days exploring its attractions, but this experience covered everything I saw back then—and so much more. I genuinely can’t recommend it enough.
Originally, I planned to fly for just half an hour to try it out. But once I started, I couldn’t stop. Lunch could wait—I was completely absorbed!
It interfaced beautifully with the Cessna C172—allowing me to take off, land, and maintain full control throughout the flight. I even flew under the Harbour Bridge!
The tour guide Aroha’s narration was not only informative but also delightfully funny. I learned about Auckland’s wildlife, national treasures, and cultural highlights. It wasn’t just a refresher on the places I had visited; it broadened my understanding of New Zealand as a whole.
I’m absolutely looking forward to joining more tours in the future!

I streamed this for my twitch viewers and everyone felt this tour had a very personal feel with human voices in an era of video games/sims dominated by AI generated voices. The C172 is a great choice for the tour, it allows you really fly low and slow and enjoy the sites. My first flight took about 2 hours as we circled back to get a better look at some sites. My 8 year old daughter flew this tour as well and loved all the local humour. It was a very educational experience wrapped in Aucklands beauty and deep traditional love of the earth.
10/10 can’t wait to fly the next one with both my kids and my viewers !!

Wow! Ive always wanted to visit the Auckland area but knew absolutely nothing about the place.. The guided tour showed me many things I would have never known about this amazing area of NZ! To imagine I only have scratched the surface of what there is to discover there is wild! Definitely from the skies is the best place to get a real sense of the land and envision the history behind it. Well worth the money and looking forward to more!

I am so proud of what the Kea Skies team have developed here! It’s really something special and unique – that opposite of whats standard in the MSFS community (AI Generated Voice bush trips with no personality). This is really something unique and can’t wait to fly more tours like this!

A Fantastic Introduction to Narrated Tours – Highly Recommended!
I recently tried the Kea Skies Auckland Narrated Tour for MSFS 2024, and as someone fairly new to narrated tours in the sim, I was thoroughly impressed. This was my first download of its kind, and I’m happy to say it exceeded expectations.
The tour was not only informative but also genuinely entertaining, thanks to the humorous and engaging narration from the Kiwi tour guide. I’ve never been to Auckland in real life, so it was fascinating to learn about the city while flying over its landmarks.
Flying the Cessna 172 was a perfect choice for this scenic tour – slow and steady, allowing you to take in the views comfortably. The custom Kea Skies livery was a great detail that added a touch of personality and immersion to the experience.
Well done, Kea Skies! This was a great introduction to the tour feature in MSFS 2024, and I’m now excited to try more. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re new to narrated experiences in the sim. It’s a fun, light-hearted, and educational way to explore a new destination.
Looking forward to future releases!

Had a great experience flying this tour in VR. This was my first scenic tour in MSFS2024 and it was absolutely delightful. The Cessna 172 was really easy to fly in, especially for a beginner like myself and the flightpath was fun enough to keep me engaged throughout. The human narrator brought a lot of personality to the table with all of her quirks and humour! Would highly recommend trying this out in VR, closest it gets to the real deal!

Very cool and informative! I really enjoyed the tour. I still remember some of the native words and found out more than I ever knew of the area. I like how they put arrows in the world to show you how to navigate so you dont miss your turns. The only problem I ran into was my own fault and thats because I had my mixture knob turned on and when the game would load it would automatically close the game once my engine turned off. Make sure you are ready to fly before going into the tour and all should be fine. Overall great experience. Highly recommend!!!!

Although I’d been to New Zealand three times in the late 70’s, I never got a look at the North Island past the one time in a holdover at Auckland Intl. This tour really brings home the feeling and experiences of the cultures and beautiful scenery. Loved the tour guide, although she went a little bit too fast in the Māori language phrases. Thanks so much to bring to live the North Island, and looking forward to more tours!
